My kids loved the Magenta Gets Glasses episodes and books. That was one of the few age-targeted things I could find for my daughter when she got her first glasses at 21 months. Magenta the dog does wear her glasses for the rest of the series, as far as I know... my kids have kind of outgrown Blue's Clues.

There is also an episode where Magenta from Blue's Clues gets glasses. Here's the clip http://www.nickjr.com/playtime/cats/video/index.jhtml?playlistid=100982
I hope that worked. It's a cute episode but I don't know if she continues with other episodes wearing her glasses. There is also a Ty Beanie Baby of Magenta with her glasses and a book of the same episode. Very cute things to get if your child is into Blues Clues.

It’s excellent that Nick is getting kids excited about glasses, more shows need to let our kids see that glasses are okay, even cool! I love the “Glasses Are Great” stickers! On your point about their eye charts not being useable, you may want to check out VSP’s eye chart app, http://eyechart.seemuchmore.com/ You and your child can enter any message you like into the eye chart then ‘decode’ it together while practicing for the exam.
